Happy Holidays to all of my dA friends!
Here's to you all! May you have a happy holiday season and a prosperous, creative new year!
Another long stretch without an entry here
Sorry for the lack of posting, I've just been too busy to even work on art much. I don't know where the time goes and how things get away from us the way they do.
Thanks for all the faves, the kind words and inspiration from all of my friends here on dA.
I recently received a email from "Art Takes Miami" and decided to enter the competition for the peoples' choice award. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a moment to vote for me. Here's the link: http://geoff.see.me/atm2012#.UF3PRzF3Xoc.facebook

Begging Forgiveness!
I realized today that I have not posted a journal entry in almost two years. The last one was September, 2010.
In all that time I have not thanked any of my friends here on dA for the kind words and faves. For that I apologize profusely.
It's been a very busy time since the last journal. I quit my job, got another job closer to home (4 blocks!), taken over curatorial duties at Evolve Urban Arts Project here in DC, continued curating shows at Park Cafe and found studio space near my home.
Life is truly like a roll of toilet paper. The shorter it gets, the faster it goes!

Devious Journal Entry
Something a friend sent me....
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, 'My son, the battle is between 'two wolves' inside us all.
'One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.'
'The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.'
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, 'Which wolf wins?'
The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'
